Motor Section
High efficienty electric motors have been specifically designed for Alidhra-Weavetech’s Two-For-One twisters. The motor section has the motor connected with the tangential belt pulley delivering speeds of upto 18000 RPM and belt tensioning devices to give optimum tension in order to nullify slipages between wharves and belts.
Spindles
The prefectly aligned high-precision spindles have extremely low run-outs thus enabling them to run smoothly at extremely low vibrations. The super-finished surface of the spindles and extremely low run-outs create less vibrations and lowers friction thus saving effectively on power consumption and reduces wear-n-tear due to vibrations. Also, lower wharve diamters add to the power savings for lighter denier yarns where balloon tensions are not very high.
Range of Twists
Covering the widest range of twists from 30 to 4000 TPM, these machines offer electronic settings for easy and reliable TPM settings. The complex control system of the machine automatically calculates and sets the exact RPM of the spindle drive and the overfeed to give exact TPM settings with extremely low variations of less than 1%.
Gear Section
The high precision assembly of the Gear-Box has most of the parts hardened for longer life. The gear box has all the mechanical settings for adjusting traverse length, S/Z direction, feeds, twists and crossing angle also.
Traverse Motion
The whole traverse box is dipped in oil bath for permanent lubrication and maintenance free life. The drum/rocker combination has hardened and polished for smoother, friction-free running. The traverse motion has been configured for both – biconical as well as flanged packages.
Machine Frame
The machine frame consists of heavy casting binders for better strength and reliability. The sturdy structure dampens the vibrations considerably for operations at higher RPMs.
Yarn Tensioners
Ball-type tensioners with inserts. A clip-on floating ring ensures steady yarn feeding into the spindle.
Thread Break Detection
The dynamically designed drop-wire is specifically developed to catch the loose yarn thread in case of breakage thus ensuring prevention of unwiding around the spindle and stopping it from penetrating inside the spindle to damage the bearings. |
